Italy is the one European country where watching a pirate stream can cost the viewer, not just the seller. Since May 2025, the Guardia di Finanza and Italian prosecutors have traced thousands of "pezzotto" users through their IP addresses and card payments and fined them €154 each, with up to €5,000 for repeat offenders. Meanwhile, following every Serie A match legally means DAZN at up to €46.99 a month, plus Sky or NOW for the three matches DAZN shares each round. Before comparing the best IPTV Italy services, this guide sets out who shows Serie A in 2026–27 and what Italian law means for viewers, then compares three options for Italian TV, both in Italy and for Italian families in North America and the rest of Europe.
Quick answer: For Italian TV outside Italy, KenoaTV comes first in this comparison: 191 Italy channels next to 7,280 USA and 1,541 Canada channels (the provider's own counts), one-off prices from US$13.99 for a month to US$169.99 for two years, and a 36-hour no-card trial that can be extended twice. QueenIPTV offers the same catalogue billed in pounds, and Smartiflix has the cheapest year at $69. Inside Italy, use only the licensed services (DAZN, Sky, NOW) for Serie A and pay TV, because users of unlicensed streams are being fined.
Editorial disclosure
This comparison was prepared with input from KenoaTV, which sells IPTV subscriptions, and we may have a commercial relationship with services listed here. See our affiliate disclosure and methodology. Prices and features were checked on each provider's official website on 4 October 2026. Channel and VOD counts are the providers' own claims, and plans change, so confirm current terms before you subscribe.

| Rank | IPTV service | Best for | Price range (checked 4 Oct 2026) | Free trial | Refund |

| 2 | QueenIPTV | The same catalogue billed in pounds, for Italians in the UK | £11.99 (1 month) to £79.99 (24 months) | 36 h, no card, extendable twice | Up to 50% with 7+ days left |

Serie A 2026–27: who shows which matches
The 2026–27 Serie A season started on 22 August, and the TV rights are split between two companies, as in the last two seasons (Money.it, 26 August 2026):
- DAZN shows all 10 matches of every round: 7 in exclusive and 3 in co-exclusive with Sky. DAZN pays about €700 million a season.
- Sky and NOW show 3 matches per round: the Saturday 20:45 match, the Sunday 18:00 match and the Monday 20:45 match. Sky pays about €200 million a season.
So a fan who wants every match needs DAZN, and a fan who follows only the big evening games can choose Sky or NOW.
What the legal Serie A bill costs this season
| Service | What it includes | Price (Money.it, 26 Aug 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| DAZN Goal | 3 Serie A matches per round, plus Serie BKT and LaLiga | €13.99/month on a 12-month plan, €19.99 monthly |
| DAZN Full | All 10 Serie A matches per round | €36.99/month on a 12-month plan, €379 paid once, €46.99 monthly |
| DAZN Family | Full, on two networks at once | €61.99/month on a 12-month plan, €619 paid once, €71.99 monthly |
| DAZN MyClubPass | Every match of one club | €29.99/month on a 12-month plan, €329 paid once |
| Sky TV + Sky Calcio | Sky's 3 matches per round | €15.99/month for 18 months (promotion), then €33 |
| NOW Pass Sport | Sky's 3 matches, plus Champions League, Europa League and Conference League | €29.99/month list price, often €19.99 for 12 months |
DAZN Sports (€11.99 to €14.99) does not include Serie A. TimVision also bundles DAZN with other services. For comparison with streaming prices in North America, see KenoaTV's best IPTV for soccer guide.
Italy fines viewers, not only sellers
This is the part of the Italian IPTV market that most "migliori IPTV" lists leave out.
- May 2025: 2,266 users identified. AGCOM, the Guardia di Finanza, Lega Serie A and several prosecutors' offices presented an operation that identified 2,266 users in 80 Italian provinces through IP addresses and online payment data. Each user faced a €154 fine, rising to €5,000 for repeat offenders, and the investigation also looked back at people who had stopped using the service (Brocardi.it, 18 May 2025).
- February 2026: 120 customers of one reseller. The Guardia di Finanza and the Rome prosecutor's office identified the 120 customers of a reseller in the province of Rimini, living in 60 provinces and aged 20 to 70, who paid a monthly fee for pirated Sky, DAZN, Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video content. They received the same €154 fines (Everyeye, 20 February 2026).
- Piracy Shield. AGCOM's Piracy Shield platform blocks the IP addresses of pirate servers within 30 minutes of kick-off, so pirate streams often stop working during the match itself (Aranzulla).
The lesson is simple. In Italy, a cheap "pezzotto" subscription to Sky and DAZN channels is not a bargain: payment by card leaves a trail, and the fine can arrive months later. Use IPTV in Italy only for channels the provider is licensed to distribute, and keep Serie A on DAZN, Sky or NOW.
What is IPTV?
IPTV (internet protocol television) delivers live TV, films and series over your internet connection instead of satellite or digitale terrestre. An IPTV provider sends you login details, usually an Xtream Codes username and password or an M3U link, and you enter them in an IPTV app on a smart TV, Fire Stick, Android TV box, Apple TV, tablet or phone. The app shows live channels, an electronic program guide (EPG) and a catalogue of films and series.
In Italy, the main licensed IPTV services are the apps you already know: DAZN, NOW, Sky Go, RaiPlay, Mediaset Infinity and TimVision. Rai, Mediaset and La7 also broadcast free over digitale terrestre. Independent IPTV services are a different market: they sell large channel lists from many countries, and whether they hold the rights to those channels is the first question to ask.
Free and legal IPTV in Italy
Italy has more free, legal IPTV than most viewers realise. Legal IPTV means the content is distributed by authorised operators, and these services are free or cheap (Aranzulla, read 4 October 2026):
| Service | What it offers | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| RaiPlay | Live streams of all 14 Rai channels, plus the on-demand catalogue after free registration | Free |
| Mediaset Infinity | Live Mediaset channels (Canale 5, Italia 1, Rete 4 and others), films and series; Infinity+ adds premium films and series | Free; Infinity+ €7.99 a month |
| Pluto TV | 100+ themed live channels and on-demand films and series | Free |
| Samsung TV Plus and LG Channels | Free channels built into compatible Samsung and LG smart TVs | Free |
| NOW | Sky's streaming service; Pass Sport includes 3 Serie A matches per round | From €19.99 a month on promotion |
| TIMVISION Family S | DAZN Goal (3 Serie A matches per round), TIMVISION and Netflix Standard with ads | €7 a month for 6 months, then €14.99 |
| TIMVISION Family L | Family S plus Disney+ and Amazon Prime with ads, including Prime's Wednesday Champions League match | €12 a month for 6 months, then €19.99 |
For Italian viewers on a budget, RaiPlay, Mediaset Infinity and Pluto TV cover news, fiction and films without any risk, and DAZN or NOW cover the football. Any good IPTV service should offer stable streams, HD or 4K quality and support for several devices: RaiPlay runs on smart TVs, smartphones and media players, NOW on smart TVs, smartphones and game consoles, and TIMVISION on smart TVs and the TIMVISION Box decoder. Check the TV guide inside each app to see what is on before you pay.
Italian TV outside Italy: the USA, Canada and Europe
For Italian families abroad, the problem is the opposite of the one in Italy: Italian channels are hard to find at all.
- USA. Italian-American households in New York, New Jersey, Chicago and Boston want Rai and Mediaset news and shows next to US networks and NFL or NBA games. A provider with deep USA and Italy groups in one guide saves running two services. KenoaTV's best IPTV USA guide covers the US side.
- Canada. Toronto and Montreal have large Italian communities. Here the Italy group should sit next to Canadian channels in English and French.
- Europe. Italians in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, France and the UK often want Italian channels plus local ones. KenoaTV's best IPTV Europe guide and best IPTV France guide compare European lineups, and QueenIPTV's guide for UK expats in Europe covers British viewers living in the EU.
Outside Italy, Serie A is sold by different broadcasters in each country, so the same rights question applies: check who holds the rights where you live.
How we chose the best IPTV service for Italian TV
We compared each IPTV service on points you can check before paying:
- Italian channels: the size of the Italy group, and whether Rai, Mediaset and La7 channels appear by name.
- Your second country: the size of the USA, Canada or UK group for families abroad.
- Trial and refund terms: whether the trial is long enough to test a Saturday or Sunday evening at peak hours.
- Price transparency: prices shown publicly, billed-once totals and the currency.
- Device compatibility: Samsung and LG smart TVs, Fire Stick, Android TV, Apple TV, tablet and phone.
- Legality signals: whether the provider tells you to follow local rules, and whether it promises things it cannot deliver, such as "every Serie A match" or a VPN to "bypass blocks".
1. KenoaTV: best IPTV service for Italian TV abroad
KenoaTV is a multi-country IPTV provider, and it is our first pick for Italian households in North America. Its channel page lists 25,000+ channels across 58 country and regional groups, including 191 Italy, 7,280 USA, 1,541 Canada, 206 France and 1,105 Latino channels. KenoaTV notes that regional groups overlap and that streams can be added or removed.
KenoaTV pricing (one connection, checked 4 October 2026)
| Plan | Billed once | Per-month equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| 1 month | US$13.99 | US$13.99 |
| 3 months | US$34.99 | US$11.66 |
| 6 months | US$59.99 | US$10.00 |
| 12 months | US$99.99 | US$8.33 |
| 24 months | US$169.99 | US$7.08 |
Every plan is available for 1 to 5 simultaneous connections. Current prices are on the KenoaTV pricing page.
Key features
- 36-hour free trial with no credit card and full access to live TV, the VOD library and sports, extendable twice by 36 hours, about 4.5 days in total.
- Italy, USA, Canada and European groups in one EPG.
- Works with common IPTV apps on smart TV, Fire Stick, Android TV, Apple TV and phones; see the installation guides.
- Refund of up to 50% if at least 7 days remain; no refunds on purchases of $5 or less.
Best for
Italian-American and Italian-Canadian households that want Italian news, entertainment and films next to US or Canadian channels, with a trial long enough to test a full weekend.
Things to consider
- Prices are in US dollars, so a European card may add a currency fee.
- The Italy group (191 channels) is much smaller than the USA group. Use the trial to check that the Rai and Mediaset channels you want appear in your guide.
- KenoaTV says access must follow the rules that apply in your region. In Italy, that means not using it for Sky, DAZN or other pay-TV content it is not licensed to show.
2. QueenIPTV: best for paying in pounds
QueenIPTV is closely related to KenoaTV and uses the same trial, refund and catalogue structure. Its channel list shows the same 191 Italy channels and a larger UK group of 1,765 channels, which suits Italians living in the UK.
QueenIPTV pricing (one connection, checked 4 October 2026)
| Plan | Billed once | Per-month equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| 1 month | £11.99 | £11.99 |
| 3 months | £24.99 | £8.33 |
| 6 months | £34.99 | £5.83 |
| 12 months | £49.99 | £4.17 |
| 24 months | £79.99 | £3.33 |
Key features
- 36-hour free trial, no card, extendable twice.
- UK, Italy and European groups in one guide.
- Refund of up to 50% if at least 7 days remain.
Best for
Italians in London, Manchester or Edinburgh who want Italian and British channels and prefer to pay in pounds.
Things to consider
- It is a sister service of KenoaTV, not an independent alternative.
- A UK TV Licence is still needed to watch live UK TV in the UK.
3. Smartiflix: lowest 12-month price
Smartiflix is an independent IPTV provider. Its pricing page lists 1 month at $14, 3 months at $36, 6 months at $47 and 12 months at $69 for one device, with plans for up to 4 devices. It claims 61,000+ live channels and 150K to 180K+ films and series.
Key features
- The lowest 12-month price in this comparison ($69).
- A free 24-hour trial.
- 4K content and full EPG support, by its own description; support via Telegram.
Best for
Buyers who want the lowest yearly cost and already know which IPTV app they will use.
Things to consider
- Its refund policy (updated 24 July 2026) reviews requests case by case, depending on timing and whether the login was used; device or home-internet problems may not qualify.
- 24 hours is barely enough to test one evening.
- The 61,000+ figure is a marketing claim, not a verified count, and Smartiflix publishes no Italy channel breakdown.
Comparison: KenoaTV vs QueenIPTV vs Smartiflix

Buying guide: how to choose an IPTV service for Italian TV
- List your must-have channels by name: Rai 1, Canale 5, La7, Rai News 24 or regional channels, not just "Italian channels".
- Start the trial on a Saturday or Sunday evening. Peak hours show whether the server copes.
- Check the guide: a working EPG with correct orari (schedules) for your time zone is a sign of a maintained service.
- Compare billed-once totals. A 24-month plan only saves money if the service still works in month 20.
- Pay with protection. A card or PayPal gives you a dispute route; crypto and bank transfers do not.
- Ignore impossible promises. No independent service holds the rights to "every Serie A match", and a built-in VPN does not make a stream legal.
How to set up IPTV on your TV
- Start the trial and wait for the login details by email.
- Install an IPTV app: IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate on a Fire Stick or Android TV box, a compatible player on Apple TV, or an app from the store on Samsung and LG smart TVs (televisore smart).
- Enter the Xtream Codes login or M3U link.
- Load the EPG and set your time zone (Italy is on CET/CEST; New York is six hours behind).
- Add your Italian channels to favourites.
KenoaTV's installation tutorials cover each device step by step. On a tablet or phone, the same app works on mobile data, but streams use data quickly.
How to reduce buffering
KenoaTV's installation FAQ says 10 to 15 Mbps is enough for HD and a stable 25 Mbps handles 4K. Most problems come from the home connection, not the speed of the internet plan:
- Use an Ethernet cable for the main TV, or move the router closer.
- Test at peak hours, when buffering is most likely.
- Restart the app and the device before a long evening of viewing.
- Switch to the HD version of a channel if a 4K feed stutters.
- If one channel buffers and others work, report that channel to support.
Is IPTV legal in Italy?
IPTV technology is legal in Italy, and DAZN, NOW, Sky Go, RaiPlay and TimVision are licensed IPTV services. What is illegal is distributing or watching pay-TV content without the rights holder's permission. Italian anti-piracy law fines viewers of unlicensed streams €154 per case, up to €5,000 for repeat offenders, and the 2025 and 2026 operations above show these fines are being applied to ordinary users, traced through their IP addresses and payments. Sellers face criminal charges.
What this means in practice:
- In Italy, use independent IPTV services only for channels you can lawfully watch, and keep Serie A, Champions League, Sky and DAZN content on the licensed services.
- Outside Italy, the same principle applies under your local law: the provider must hold the rights for the channels it sells where you live.
- Be careful with "VPN included" offers. A VPN hides your location; it does not make an unlicensed stream legal.
KenoaTV's position is that responsibility for content licensing sits with the provider, and that access must follow local rules. Read its article on licensed vs unverified IPTV before you buy any IPTV subscription.
In dettaglio:
Frequently asked questions
Qual è la migliore IPTV in Italia? (What is the best IPTV in Italy?)
Inside Italy, the best and only safe option for Serie A and pay-TV content is a licensed service: DAZN for all 10 matches per round, Sky or NOW for three. For Italian families abroad, KenoaTV is our first pick for its 191 Italy channels next to large USA and Canada groups, and its long free trial.
(What is the best IPTV in Italy in 2026?)
For 2026–27, DAZN Full remains the only service with every Serie A match. Among independent IPTV services for Italian TV abroad, KenoaTV ranks first in this comparison, QueenIPTV second and Smartiflix third.
Che cos'è un IPTV? (What is IPTV?)
IPTV means internet protocol television: live TV, films and series delivered over your internet connection to an app on a smart TV, Fire Stick, tablet or phone, instead of satellite or digitale terrestre.
(What IPTV subscription options are there?)
Independent IPTV services sell prepaid plans from 1 to 24 months: KenoaTV from US$13.99 a month to US$169.99 for two years, QueenIPTV from £11.99 to £79.99 and Smartiflix from $14 to $69 for 12 months. Licensed Italian services use monthly or 12-month plans, such as DAZN Full at €46.99 monthly or €379 paid once.
Quali sono i migliori pacchetti IPTV in Italia? (What are the best IPTV packages in Italy?)
For football, DAZN Full covers every Serie A match and NOW Pass Sport adds the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League. For Italian TV abroad, a 12-month KenoaTV or QueenIPTV plan gives the lowest monthly cost after the free trial.
(Where can I find the best M3U playlists for Italy?)
Avoid free M3U lists shared on forums and Telegram: they break often, Piracy Shield blocks many of them within minutes, and they usually redistribute channels without permission. A paid provider gives you your own M3U link or Xtream Codes login. For free and legal live TV in Italy, use RaiPlay (all 14 Rai channels), Mediaset Infinity or Pluto TV.
(What is the best IPTV list in Italy?)
There is no legal "lista" that includes Sky and DAZN channels for free. Lists that promise them are the kind of pezzotto services whose users have been fined €154 or more.
Quali sono i migliori siti IPTV in Italia? (What are the best IPTV sites in Italy?)
The licensed ones: DAZN, NOW, Sky, RaiPlay, Mediaset Infinity and TimVision. Treat any site selling "all Sky and DAZN channels" for a few euros a month as unlicensed.
Is IPTV legal in Italy?
The technology is legal. Watching pay-TV content through an unlicensed service is not, and Italian users have been fined from €154 up to €5,000 for repeat offences.
How to choose the best IPTV provider?
Check the channels you need by name during a free trial at peak hours, compare billed-once prices, read the refund rules, pay by card or PayPal, and avoid providers that promise every Serie A match or sell a VPN to "bypass blocks".
How do I find IPTV providers?
Compare providers that publish clear prices, a trial, a refund policy and installation guides, like the three in this guide. Be wary of sellers who only take orders through WhatsApp or Telegram and accept only crypto or bank transfers.
What is Televo IPTV?
Televo is a UK IPTV provider that sells prepaid plans from £24.99 for three months, with a 7-day money-back guarantee and up to 5 connections, by its own description. It focuses on UK viewers and publishes no Italy channel breakdown.
Final verdict
Where you live decides the right answer. In Italy, Serie A and pay TV belong on the licensed services: DAZN for all ten matches per round, Sky or NOW for three, and free Rai, Mediaset and La7 channels over the air or through RaiPlay and Mediaset Infinity. For Italian households in the USA, Canada and the rest of Europe, KenoaTV is our first pick thanks to its Italy, USA and Canada groups in one guide, published prices from US$13.99 and a trial that can stretch to about 4.5 days. QueenIPTV is the better fit for Italians in the UK who prefer paying in pounds, and Smartiflix is the cheapest yearly plan if a 24-hour trial is enough for you.
Before you subscribe anywhere, check your must-have channels by name, test at peak times and follow the rights rules of the country you live in.
Our standard: Provider claims are labeled, availability is checked by region, and local reader notes never affect rankings.
